Narrative

I work with children, teens, and young adults in individual and family counseling. I believe that healing can happen in relationships. My way of treatment is integrative with a family systems theoretical base. This means I conceptualize issues in the context of your family background and current social system. Using that basis, I use your strengths and the therapeutic tie to move towards more positive changes, healing, and personal/ family growth. This will allow you to better handle future life stresses.

I use play therapy to give children the opportunity to express their feelings. They can practice good behaviors. They can find answers to problems just as an adult would using words with a therapist. Children have often not developed the way to use words to express themselves , but express themselves through play.
